As Las Vegas begins to re-open to tourism, images show Fremont Street being fenced off and metal detectors installed. This will leave tourists disarmed and defenseless against There's a lot of questions I'm not inclined at the moment to research and answer. Fremont Street is still ostensibly public property, so legally, the city cannot ban firearms. Even if they could ban concealed firearms, they can't ban openly carried firearms. No one in their right mind should be going downtown while rioting is going on, especially if disarmed. I'm sure that the city of Las Vegas will claim some ridiculous bullshit legal excuse to do it and dare anyone to fight it in court (and the robed idiots on the Supreme Court would probably find some way to justify it too). And of course, in 2021 there will be a round of legislation to fuck over armed citizens in the tourist areas to leave them prey for terrorists and criminals. Remember, Steven Paddock killed 59 and injured 400 more from shooting outside a security perimeter into one. Comments are closed.
